Spring Cocktails to Make at Your Next Dinner Party

Any good dinner party needs top-notch libations that taste like the perfect combination of boozy and delicious. These six cocktails will be such a hit at your event, your guests will be asking for the recipes to make at their next party. The best part is, most of these recipes are pitcher-friendly, so you can make a batch the day before your event and refrigerate until you’re ready to pour it up.


1. Vodka and Watermelon Cooler

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups frozen, cubed seedless watermelon chunks

  • 1 cup vodka

  • ½ cup Triple Sec

  • ¼ cup fresh lime juice

Combine all ingredients in a blender. Garnish with thin watermelon slices and mint leaves.


2. Pineapple Margarita

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cups fresh lime juice (approximately 10 limes)

  • 3 cups blanco tequila

  • 2 cups Triple Sec

  • 5-6 cups pineapple juice

Combine all ingredients in a pitcher and stir well. Chill the mixture. Serve over ice and garnish with a lime wedge and fresh pineapple wedges.


3. Classic Mojito

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ ounces white rum

  • 1 oz. fresh lime juice

  • ¼ cup club soda

  • ¾ounces simple syrup

  • 1 cup ice cubes

  • 10 fresh mint leaves

  • lime wedges

Muddle mint leaves with lime wedges. Add simple syrup and muddle again. Add ice, rum and lime juice. Top with club soda and garnish with a lime wedge and mint leaves.


4. Spiked Lemonade

Ingredients:

  • 5 cups lemonade

  • 2 ½ cups vodka; lemon-flavored vodka works well here

Combine all ingredients in a pitcher and chill. Pour over ice and garnish with lemon slices.


5. Blackberry Bramble

Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces gin

  • 1 ounce fresh lemon juice

  • ½ ounce simple syrup

  • 1 ounce blackberry liqueur

  • Fresh blackberries

Combine all ingredients in a shaker and shake well. Strain over ice. Garnish with blackberries and lemon wheel.


6. White-Wine Sangria

Ingredients:

  • 1 bottle dry white wine

  • ½ cup white grape juice

  • ½ cup brandy

  • ½ cup peach schnapps

  • 2 peaches, cut into wedges

  • 1 pint raspberries

  • 2 oranges, cut into wedges

In a pitcher, combine all ingredients, except wine. Chill the mixture overnight. Add white wine and serve over ice.
